Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation Holds All Hallows’ Eve Fundraiser

More than 250 mortal guests of the Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation experienced Halloween once again from within the gates of Hollywood Forever. Each year, the Foundation plans the annual All Hallows’ Eve Fundraiser for Chamber members, their families and guests.

This year, the one and only legendary Burt Ward, Batman’s original Robin joined our spooktacular party! He portrayed Robin on the original Batman TV show of the mid-1960s, the onscreen action graphics which entirely changed the landscape of comic books forever. Ward was the youngest person on the set at 20 when production began and he did his own stunts. Nowadays, he runs a non-profit with his wife called Gentle Giants, which saves dogs by putting them up for adoption while also producing affordable and healthy dog food which can help double a pet’s lifespan.

Presenting a guaranteed ghoulishly good time, guests faced their darkest fears with vampire bites, spirits and boos, tricks and treats. Ghosts and guests mingled down the famous cemetery amongst psychic readers, guided tours, dance performance, and strolling magicians. Along the dark path, there were attractions at this year’s party including Magician Trix Table, FotoSpark’s frightening foto booth, mysterious Mausoleum figures courtesy of Madame Tussauds Hollywood, “Thriller” performed by Scream Team Dancers/IN Hollywood TV, frightening face painters by EI School of Professional Makeup, and bone rattling DJs from Power 106 FM. Guests and their precious ones also enjoyed Dave & Buster’s Fun Zone, a chance to create their own creepy crafts, and costume contests.

For the hungry souls, the famished ones enjoyed delicious food at the alter from AlWazir Chicken, Bibibop, Fabiolus, Fresh Brothers, Good Greek Grill, Greenleaf Chopshop, McDonald’s, Rao’s Hollywood, Vino Bistro, Wood & Vine. And for the thirsty souls, the witches’ brew bar was plentiful courtesy of Premiere LA, Black Horn Imports and Anheuser- Busch.
