SHEILA E.
Sheila E is a percussionist best known for her hit song, The Glamorous Life. She also had a hit with the single A Love Bizarre. She is often called the Queen of Percussion; after her star was unveiled, she did a drum performance with her father and brother—a first on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After breaking off from The George Duke Band, she went solo and eventually joined forces with Prince during the Purple Rain recording sessions. She provided vocals to the Prince song Erotic City.
