ECONOMIC AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

The Economic and Workforce Development Committee of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is a newly formed committee that promotes economic growth and development in Hollywood. The committee works closely with businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, and other community stakeholders to identify and address the community’s economic and workforce development needs to create a strong and sustainable local economy. Additionally, the committee works with developers, financial investors, and the community on critical projects to revitalize Hollywood, advance a dynamic business climate, advocate for a robust business community, and develop the workforce of the future. Through its efforts, the committee plays a vital role in shaping the economic future of the Hollywood community and supports the Chamber’s strategic plan goals.

LEGISLATIVE ACTION COMMITTEE

The Legislative Action Committee of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is responsible for advocating for policies that positively impact the Hollywood business community and support the Chamber’s strategic plan goals. This committee works to monitor and advance public policy goals at all levels of government and to educate and inform the community about important legislative and regulatory issues. Through its efforts, the Legislative Action Committee plays a vital role in promoting Hollywood’s supportive and business-friendly environment. The Legislative Action Committee may also mobilize the business community to take action on these issues.
Supporting the Chambers’ strategic plan goals to advocate for policies that positively impact the Hollywood business community, monitoring and advancing public policy goals at all levels of government.
T.E.A.M.S (Tourism, Entertainment, Arts, Media, & Sports) COMMITTEE
2025 Committee Chair: Ilysha Buss • Staff Liaison: Chloe Kim • Meets every other month
The T.E.A.M.S (Tourism, Entertainment, Arts, Media, & Sports) Committee of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting and supporting the Hollywood community’s arts, culture, and hospitality industries, with a new focus on tourism and sports, due to the upcoming global events coming to the city. The committee works to enhance the area’s cultural vibrancy and encourage the growth of the tourism and hospitality sectors. To achieve these goals, the committee may develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns, host events and activities, and work with local businesses and organizations to support Hollywood’s arts, culture, and hospitality industries. Through its efforts, the T.E.A.M.S Committee is vital in strengthening these critical industries in the Hollywood community.
Supporting the Chamber’s strategic plan goals and objectives related to engaging, serving, and advocating on behalf of Hollywood’s diverse creative arts community – including entertainment production studios, performing arts venues, galleries, and theaters.
NON-PROFIT ROUNDTABLE

The Non-Profit Roundtable of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is a platform for our local nonprofit member organizations to collaborate, share resources, and discuss common challenges. These roundtables served as a hub for fostering partnerships, enhancing the impact of community services, and addressing the unique needs of Hollywood’s diverse population.
RESTAURANT ROUNDTABLE

The Restaurant Roundtable of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce was first initiated to help our members navigate the COVID-19 emergency. The committee provides members in food service the opportunity to connect, learn about the current industry climate, and explore ways to address current challenges facing the food service industry.
