Hollywood Chamber of Commerce held its Business After Hours at Japan House in November.
We were honored to have the Honorable Akira Chiba, Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles who welcomed guests to the new Japan House in Hollywood. Yuko Kaifu, President of Japan House Los Angeles invited attendees to visit and experience the different aspects of Japanese culture at the various spots within Japan House.
The innovative project was conceived by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and transcends the physical and conceptual boundaries, and creates experiences that reflect the best of Japan. Japan House Los Angeles occupies two floors at Hollywood & Highland. The Second Floor features a gallery space and shop. The Fifth Floor hosts a Japanese restaurant, relaxing library, and an event venue, showcasing spectacular views of Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles. Consul General Chiba, Kaifu who also is a Boardmember of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce joined Boardmember Jeff Zarrinnam, President & CEO Leron Gubler and J.J. Connaughton, Director of Membership Services in welcoming these new members to Hollywood Chamber: Lee Andrews representing Andrews Global Security; Alfredo Tebano, H.Club LA; Precious Hilton, Hilton More L.O.V.E. Foundation; and Billy Hughes, Hollywood Signs and Branding.
